Cookies Make Everything Better!

It's my Design day over at Digi My World  and I did a little card using a new release set called Kawaii Cookie Snack.

My card is a mere 3x3 and would be great in the lunch box.

I colored the digi using the Silhouette design software and then cut it out.
I popped it up on my card with some foam tape.

With the print and cut feature, you can literally put this card together while the kids are eating their breakfast.

The card base is from the SVG Cutting Files store here and the sentiment is from the Jaded Blossom Milk and Cookies stamp set.

Here's a look at the whole set of digital stamps in this set..

Scent-sational treat

Hope everyone is  having a scent-sational week.  I want to share another cute gifty item I did for my scrappin' friends this last weekend.
I did a simple box holder sized to fit the bottle of sequins. I then cut an extra piece for the back so I had a place for the sentiment.

The cute Skunk is from SVG Cutting Files here. The sentiment is stamped on a die from Jaded Blossom here.  The sentiment on top of the bottle is also from Jaded Blossom Forest Candies stamp set which is on a medallion die from the Jaded Blossom Candy Charms and Banners set.

Where to find mini coffee cups.

Thank you everyone who stopped by yesterday and left comments for the Birthday project.
I had several comments asking about the mini coffee cups.
You can order the mini coffee cups and lids here and find instructions for the caddy here.
You can find several other ideas on how to use these cups for other projects on Pinterest.

Love to Scrap!

Happy Monday! I have been scrapping all weekend- yeah!!

I found these cute distressed boxes at the local craft store one day and decided to make a sign that I would give to my crafty friends I am scrapping with this past weekend. I always do little treats for everyone each day we are together.

I started with the letters. picked a font and and used the Cameo to cut them after adding a shadow to each letter.

Each little gal is pieced using files from SVG Cutting Files. I used the BFF and La Vecindad-The Neighborhood sets.

I added a bit of twine for a bow across the bottom and the signs were ready for the scrap room.

Now back to my last few hours of my scrappin' weekend before I have to pack up and head home.

Have a crafty day!!

Goodies for Crafty Friends

Hello everyone! I have a little gift bag project to share with you today. It's not the typical gift bag project, but it is made with a brown paper bag. I have several of these lunch bags in my closet and decided to challenge myself to come up with a project to put them to good use.
The result is a gift bag to hold goodies for my crafty friends.

I started by trimming about 3" off the top of the bag. Next I punched a scalloped border to make it more decorative but you could certainly leave the edge as is.
With the opening of the bag at the bottom, I folded the bag opening up just to cover the folded flap of the bag bottom and stapled down each of the sides to keep it together. I think sewing would be super cute as well. I now have two pockets to fill with goodies.
I added some pattern paper, ribbon and washi tape. The Fox is an SVG File from the  Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Forest Critters set found here. I tied a pretty bow with a sentiment tag made from the Jaded Blossom Mini Tag Dies and Forest Friends Stamp set

I am linking this project up to the PPPR Anything Goes Challenge

It's a Cat in a Hat!

To celebrate the upcoming Birthday of Dr. Seuss, SVG Cutting files is giving away some "Seuss" svg files. In order to get the files, simple be a member of the SVG Cutting Files Galleria on Facebook. If you are not a current member, simply ask to join here.

I used the iconic Cat in the Hat file today.
It is a simple Birthday card for any Dr. Seuss fan. And frankly, who isn't!

The card base is the standard A2 size in black. I then added a red and blue dot mat. My cat is popped up on foam tape to sit along side the sentiment I made up on  my own.
A quick little button with twine finish this little card.

Be sure to get on over to the SVG Cutting Galleria page to get all the Seuss files free!

Pick me!

Happy Friday. I am so excited because today I am going for a long weekend of crafting with my friends.

But before I head out of town. I have a sweet project to share with you using a brand new file from SVG Cutting files called Flower Box Girl.

Isn't she adorable. I added her to the front of a Square tube box holder.

I found these fun flower shaped JuJu candies at the store and couldn't resist using them for this project. I stacked them carefully in the square candy tube holder which you can find here.

The leaf and flower die cuts are from the new Jaded Blossom Spring Dies set and the sentiment is from the Smell the Flowers stamp set also from Jaded Blossom.

Lady Bug Hugs!

Well, it is going to snow again. Will this winter ever end?
This grey day calls for some spring color.....how about a treat box with chocolate!

I used the newly released lady bug digit stamp from Digi My World. I colored  her quickly on the cameo and then used the print and cut feature. I cut the wings a second time and popped them up with foam squares. I topped her off with some stickles on the hearts. She just makes ya smile.

The sentiment is my own typed and printed on the computer. The die cut for the box is from My Creative Time.

Be sure to stop over at Digi My World to see all the newly released images the design team has been playing with.

Cozy toes!

Hey all, I am here with a quick post today....a cute little treat box I discovered in the Silhouette Store. It can be filled with so many things.

With the weather being so cold this winter, I think a pair of slippers would be a nice treat for someone to keep those toes cozy and warm.

I cut the box from kraft paper and added some pattern paper from the scrap box.
The snowman and sentiment are from My Creative Times You're so Cool stamp set.

The forecast calls for more snow and cold tomorrow. Slippers are going to be a must!

Have a crafty day.

New SVG Cutting Files Challenge - anything spring!

Hi Everyone!  There is a new challenge at SVG Cutting Files, the theme this month is "spring". I know I am ready for spring.  Just remember, the project just include something from SVG Cutting Files.
Projects should be linked on the blog or Facebook Galleria Group by March 14. There is a great prize up for grabs.

My project today is an accordion card that provides room for little treats and in the case of this "spring" card, packs of flower seeds.
During this time of year, I start hoping for the snow to melt quickly and tulips to bloom.
You can see in this photo, the gusset side that allows for space for those seed packets. I used my new envelope punch board to make the index tabs.
The cute garden girl on the front is from the SVG Cutting files set called La Vecindad- The Neighborhood. This file set is loaded with the cute images that can be used for many different things. I did modify the lil' gal slightly in that I used the arms from the BFF file set so she looks like she is leaning out a window looking at her garden.

The sentiments on the tab and the front are from the new Jaded Blossom Smell the Flowers stamp set.

I look forward to seeing your spring creations.

You're Tweet

Today is my design day over at Digi My World.  I am using a new digital stamp that is in the store now.  It is so Tweet! It is this cute little bird and birdhouse image.
I colored it using my cameo before printing and cutting it out. I added it to a little treat box for Valentine's day. The box is super cute and holds 2 chocolate nuggets perfectly. You can find the box file here in the SVG Cutting Files store.

Mini Valentine Treats

I did a few Valentine treat cards for some co-workers this week I want to share with you. I simply don't have the time to make a bunch of detailed cards so decided this is the next best thing.

I lifted the idea from Jaymie who posted something similar over at Jaded Blossom here.   Thanks Jaymie for great inspiration.
I added the cupid silhouette from SVG Cutting Files which happens to be a freebie if you are a member of the facebook group here.

I think they are a super cute idea for any holiday not to mention quite quick to put together. Fun size candies are available year round so think of the possibilities.

Have a crafty day!

The couple I chose the iconic space couple, George and Jane Jetson.
If you dont' know who they are, well, they are the perfect space age cartoon couple from a few years back.

The shape of the space ship worked perfectly as a treat bag topper. I first made a base of the space ship to have as the back for the topper.
I used some acetate for the space ship cover and attached it behind some layers for added dimension to the space craft.  I gave Jane a pearl earring and added some doodles with my white pen.
The sentiment is my own printed and cut on the Cameo.
