Take two and call me in the morning!

It's design day for me over at Digi My World A couple weeks ago, I posted a card with a zebra on it that I stumbled across while browsing the DMW store. It was hidden among some alphabet letters.
Well, I am here to share another image I found in the same place but this time it was in the Letter N file.

Check out this super sweet nurse, Now ya just gotta feel better when she smiles at you.
I colored her up quickly using the cameo and then added a grey mat border before cutting her out.

I decorated this little get well package with a topper using the Jaded Blossom Fancy Topper Die, the SVG cutting Files Kawaii Bandaid and a sentiment from the Jaded Blossom Get Well Soon stamp set.  I filled the treat bag with red Mike and Ike candies. They look like large pills.

Just Add Milk!

Today I have created a treat for my design day project over at Jaded Blossom using these fun chocolate milk straws I picked up a few weeks ago.

The chocolate milk straws were already packaged nicely so I just added a little Moo-velous topper.

Here's how I did it....Cow SVG file from Miss Kate's Cuttables, Sentiment from the Jaded Blossom Milk and Cookies stamp set stamp on top of a stitched mat using the Jaded Blossom Card Mat dies.

Squaredy Cat - Score

It's Saturday - Yeah. SVG Cutting Files recently has added cut files for the ever so popular Squaredy Cats! Today I am using a super cute file called Squaredy Cat Minnesota of course.

The design for this cut file is based on the NFL football team in MN, The Minnesota Vikings. The team colors are purple and gold, thus the reason for the purple hat with horns.

I used the Kawaii Sea Life nugget box for the base cutting it from some textured vinyl paper that feels like a football. I added some football print paper for the backdrop before adding the Squaredy Cat with some foam tape.

Hello Kitty Blog hop

It's our 2nd Annual Hello Kitty Blog Hop!  Are you as excited as we are??

Hello Kitty is such an iconic character to so many people, we just had to do another hop in her honor!
Today's hop is sponsored by SvgCuttingFiles and Jaded Blossom, so grab that cup of coffee, sit back, relax and enjoy the creations the team has made! Oh my, they have outdone themselves.

I made a treat holder for the hop today using the JB Clear Purse box for the base of my Spa Hello Kitty. How sweet is she! Thank you Ann from SvgCuttingFiles for making her and all these wonder files along the hop trail.

I filled the box with some nail polish, nail file and hand lotion. The Dainty Topper die was a perfect fit for the purse flap at the top. It also gave me a good base for my sentiment.
All the papers I used were from the Doodlebug paper packs that can be found here in the "Fun Stuff" in the Jaded Blossom store.

How 'bout that sentiment?  We are so exited to have this coordinating Hello Hello Bundle from Jaded Blossom specially designed for this hop.

Oh Boy!

It's design day for me over at Digi My World I was scanning the Digi My World store and came across some this super sweet little zebra. I just had to use it on a card.

The zebra is part of a stamp and digital art set called Letter Z. I know- not at all what you would expect.

I did this card very simply but using the print and cut feature on the cameo for the zebra and added him with foam tape on top of some pattern papers. The sentiment is from and old My Pink Stamper stamp set.

Be sure to check out all the fun images hidden the in the alphabet letters. You are sure to find some real treasures.

SVG Cutting Files Challenge- Back to School!

Hi Everyone!  There is a new challenge at SVG Cutting Files, this month we want to see all those great Back to School proejcts. It can be for a student or a teacher. Just remember, the project must include something from SVG Cutting Files.
Projects should be linked on the blog or Facebook Galleria Group by August 14. As always, there is a great prize up for grabs.

I found this super cute pencil treat holder at the local craft store. For the tag, I simple cut a piece of pattern paper that looks like notebook paper and then added my little owl. His hat is from the Kawaii Nerdy School file set.
The sentiment is from the Jaded Blossom School Rocks stamap set.

I hope you'll join us for this fun school treat challenge.

Heartfelt thanks.

Here we are at another Monday. Why do the weekends go so fast!

Today is my design day over at Jaded Blossom and I have another cute project to share with one of the newest products in the JB store, the Candy Caddy Die
It's a bit girly but I think a pretty little thank you gift. I cut all the parts and put them together. Then added the lace, ribbon and svg rose cut file that I found in the Silhouette store.
The sentiment is from the JB Kind Thanks stamp set.

I have several of these tealight candles and three of them fit perfectly in the tray die perfectly.

Jaded Blossoms Summer July Challenge- Summer Fun!

If you're new to Jaded Blossom, be sure to jump over to their blog now and become a blog follower so you don't miss out on all the super fun stuff.
Also, visit the Garden of Creativity in Facebook and "Like" the JB Facebook Page.

Today there's a new Jaded Blossom Monthly Challenge and the theme is Summer Fun!

Summer is about being outside in the sunshine, grilling and enjoying the pool or beach. I did some little pool treats using the Jaded Blossom Happy Summer stamp set.

My treat box was inspired by a Silhouette Tutorial  here which I modified for my cute little swimmers cuts called Tubing with Christopher from SVG Cutting Files.
I added an extra wave piece in the front to get a layered look of the waves.

I couldn't decide what color hair I wanted for the little tubers so I did three different ones.
I found all blue jelly beans at the party store and filled the JB 3x4 bags, positioned the bag under the top flap of the box before punching a couple holes for my bow. Keeps everything nicely in place.

I hope you will join us and link up your Summer Fun project on the Jaded Blossom Blog. Please be sure you check out the challenge rules before linking.

While you're there, check out what the rest of the design team created. They are so extremely talented.

Have a crafty day!!

Picnic host gifts.

Good morning. Hope everyone is enjoying this nice long weekend.
We enjoyed a great picnic with family in Northern MN even though Mother Nature decide to rain on us since again.

Sharing a couple treats I took to the picnic for the host and hostess.

For the host, a 6-pack of Veterans Beer where I added a hang tag using the Jaded Blossom wine tag dieI added a the chef from the Cricut cartridge called Block Party.

This little treat box is from the silhouette store as is the Uncle Sam. I scrap lifted this idea from Gwen at This and That. I filled it with some mints for the hostess. It's only about 4" square but so, so cute.

Have a wonderful and crafty weekend!

Happy 4th of July!

Happy 4th of July to everyone.

I am spending time with family this weekend and hoping for a few  nice warm and sunny days.
I did some quick little treats for the youngsters i will see today...a little 4th of July smore mix.
The mix is super easy: teddy grahams or any graham cracker type item, chocolate chips, mini marshmallows, and M&Ms. Toss together and put into a treat bag. In my case these little red plastic take out boxes.

Of course I had to spruce up the box a bit.
The tag was done using the Jaded Blossom Treat Tage die which I embellished with a sentiment from the Patriotic Candies stamp set and Mini Tag dies before adding my favorite die cut, the SVG Cutting Files Chibi Uncle Sam with a PKS stamped face.

I did a second version with a pretty star from Petty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Grand Old Flag file set.
I think they turned out cute and hope the kids like them.

I wish everyone a Safe and Happy 4th of July!!

God Bless America!

It's design day for me over at Digi My World and I have an Independence Day card to share with you today.

I used the digital stamp file called Stella's Valentine. I simply modified it for the summer holiday by coloring the stripes and stars on the heart she is holding.

I stared with a basic A2 card base and used an EK punch to create a scalloped edge on each side, layered up some pattern papers and added some stars.

The sentiment can be found on the Jaded Blossom Celebrate America stamp set.

Have a wonderful and safe holiday weekend!!

Let's Glow!

Wow- the 4th of July is only a couple days away. We waited so long for warm summer days and now it's going to fast!

I came across this tube of glow necklaces and bracelets at the grocery store of all places.
A simple tag and I have a safe treat on the eve of the 4th of July for the neighbor boy.

I used the Jaded Blossom Treat Tag die for the base of my tag.

I used the Jaded Blossom Celebrate America stamp set to make my own subway art sentiment on the tag and finished it off with a print and cut rocket from Pretty Paper Pretty Ribbons here

The little eagle is from the Silhouette Store here. It comes with the stars and the title file. I used the PKS Chickie Faces stamps for the eyes.

I embellished the ends of the candy tube using the Jaded Blossom Candy Charms and Banners dies and the Pattern Candies stamps. I simply stamped the stars and stripes next to each other before punching out the circles.
